Good Days

Today was a good day. There wasn't anything particularly special or amazing about it, it was just good. Do you ever have those kinds of days? Days that are good simply because it's another day to live, another day to smile, another day to laugh over nothing with friends. There is a song by Matt Nathenson that says, "Everyday is the start of something beautiful." Do you look at life that way, or do you look at life as a great big challenge that isn't so much fun? I must admit that I am often guilty of this, but I also realize that life is going to throw us challenges, that is just the nature of things. But that doesn't mean we can't see it as something beautiful, something new to be discovered. So, wake up in the morning with a smile, and the knowledge that you are at the start of a new and beautiful day. And, even if the rain comes down, you spill coffee on your white shirt, and you're late for work, I challenge you to look for the beauty in the day. It's there, just look.
